Now that all of the skeins have been washed, dried and measured it's time to announce the final total and show off all of the spinning for this year's TdF in one place.
They are all in order from top left to bottom right. Most are 2ply but there are a couple of 3ply chained-plied fibonacci spun yarns in there too. The thickest yarn is double knit weight, the finest is light fingering to heavy lace weight. The total weight of the skeins is 1,481g and the length of the yarn is 4,859m. In terms of the spinning figures for the TdF team, which takes into account the individual lengths of the singles and the final skein, this amounts to 14,998m. Its a pretty good haul.
